13 sick from food poisoning in UP’s Farrukhabad


New Delhi: In Jahanganj area of ​​Farrukhabad district, around 13 people fell ill after consuming stale food on Saturday.

Police sources told news agency UNI that a function was organized at the house of Mohiuddinpur resident Anil Kumar on Friday evening. “Around 3.30 am, 13 people complained of abdominal pain and vomiting, after which they were taken to the community health centre,” he said.

Police sources said that four people, including Guddi, Nirmala, Sant Pal and Itendra, were referred to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

“The rest of the patients were admitted to Kokmalganj CHC,” he said.

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Avanindra Kumar, after visiting the hospital, said that proper treatment was being provided and the condition of all the patients was stable, the report said.

The father of a patient said that everyone ate dry potato curry, puri, kachori, panjiri and panchamrit in the feast. Some people are fine but others have become ill.
