Mumbai: A 15-year-old girl from Mumbai committed suicide because she was not allowed to use the phone. He jumped from a seven-story building in the suburbs of Malad.
After finding the body, the police searched for his parents. Although the exact motive for the suicide remains unknown, the authorities believe that the girl was desperate because her family members allegedly stole her phone, according to the official, who added that an investigation is underway.
In another incident, an MBA student committed suicide in southeast Delhi’s Jamia Nagar area on Saturday night, police said, as reported by news agency ANI. According to the police, they did not receive a suicide note from the student, and the exact motive of the child’s drastic act is still unknown.
