Indore: A 19-year-old boy kidnapped and raped a 12-year-old minor, who was later stripped and exhibited by the surviving family member in the Kanadia region of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The children were ordered to whip the naked youth while the women surrounded him and cursed him.
Jagdeesh Jamre, head of the Canadian Constabulary, said, “The youth, Ritik, was misled and took the minor with him. Family members found them on the Indore Bypass and took them back to Kanadia’s Bhuri Tekri area, where they were punished. He was paraded naked and beaten.”
He added, “A case of sexual assault and kidnapping has been registered against Ritik under relevant sections of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act and both the girl and the youth have been sent for medical examination.”
Jamre announced that the young man’s statements are being documented, and then a report will be filed against the family members of the minor girl who beat him and paraded him.
