In April 2022, Alcazar was ranked third in the sales of the mid-size SUV. While following the XUV700 and Harrier, it was ahead of other rivals such as Tata Safari and MG Hector. The introduction of new, affordable alternatives will help increase sales. The New Hyundai Alcazar Executive Base Variant New Executive variant of Alcazar will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. While both diesel and convertible diesel models will be available, customers who choose a different petrol Executive will have only replacement parts.
The diesel-powered Alcazar is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine that produces 115 PS power and 250 Nm of torque. The 2.0 liter petrol engine produces 159 PS and 191 Nm. Both engines come with 6 gearboxes and 6 automatic transmissions. Using replaceable fuel, both petrol and diesel engines work best on 14.5 kmpl and 20.4 kmpl petrol respectively. With the initial price of rivals like the XUV700 and Harrier lower than Alcazar, Hyundai may be looking to reduce this gap with new Executive models. Depending on the price reduction the company is targeting, the Alcazar variant will have to sacrifice some of the features. Hyundai will need to find a balance between pricing and equipment list to ensure that the new Executive models can get the response you want from customers.
Alcazar Executive includes Features that may not be available if there are alternatives to the Alcazar Executive including a dual tone color option, puddle lamps with the Hyundai logo logo and a step by step foot. Black style, as provided by ORVM, roof rails, shark fin antenna and rear spoiler, will also be available.
Inside, the missing items can include a black leather and black leather seat and door armrest, electric parking brakes with auto hold, front air vents, air purifier, 2nd row headrest cushion and Bose premium sound system. Available features include panoramic sunroof, 2nd and 3rd row 3rd 3rd row AC vents, follow-me-home headlamp, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system and auto technology connected to Bluelink.
