New Delhi: Hyundai Creta is the best selling mid-size SUV in the country. Last year, 140,895 units of this car were sold in the country. The company sold 15,037 units of this car in January and 10,421 units in February 2023. Hyundai will launch its updated version in 2024 to further increase its sales. The new Creta facelift was first unveiled at the GIIAS 2021 Motor Show. In addition to the mid-life update, Hyundai may bring an electric version of the car in 2025. 2024 Hyundai Creta
Facelifted for 2024, the Creta gets a new parametric grille, refined front bumper, rectangular headlamps with LED DRLs, wide air intakes and tail lamp clusters, along with vertical creases on both sides. Also, this car will be equipped with ADAS technology which will get features like adaptive cruise control, front collision warning system, automatic braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitor, rear cross collision assist. Along with this, the updated BlueLink connected car technology will also be available. However, there will be no change in engine settings. The 2024 Creta will be available with 1.5-litre NA petrol, new 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines.
Hyundai Creta Electric
The Creta EV will compete with the eVX concept, Maruti Suzuki’s new electric SUV that will be launched in the country by 2025. However, no details have yet been revealed about the electric version’s drivetrain. However, based on some media reports, it may get the same powertrain as the Kona EV, which gets a 39.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Kona Electric offers a range of 425 km on a single charge. However, there will be changes in the exterior and interior of the new Creta EV.
