32-year-old man uses online tutorial to make explosives, uses it to kill wife’s rapist

Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): Police here have arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly killing a man with the help of explosives as part of a plan to avenge the alleged gang rape of his wife.

According to the Hindustan Times report, according to the police, the man learned to make bombs online.

The police have also arrested two others named Bhanwar Lal and Dinesh in connection with the alleged gang rape.

“Rural Lal Singh was killed in an explosion near a tubewell on his agricultural land on January 4. Forensic science expert told that the blast was caused by gelatin stick and detonator. In investigation, it was found. Ratlam Superintendent of Police Gaurav Tiwari said that a similar explosion took place in the tube well of former sarpanch Bhanwar Lal in August, but he suffered minor injuries in the incident.

“Police found a family missing from the village after the incident (explosion in which Lal Singh was killed). The police detained the man and his family members from Mandsaur on January 7. During interrogation, the man confessed to his crime and also revealed that he was taking revenge for the gang rape of his wife,” the senior police officer said.

In his statement, the accused informed the police that three men – Lal Singh, Bhavarlal and Dinesh – had earlier gang-raped and thrashed his wife.

“In July, Lal Singh, Bhavarlal and Dinesh entered her house and raped his wife. He tried to stop them but they beat her up. Later, the accused threatened her with dire consequences. The man did not report the matter to the police. But decided to take revenge,” the accused said in his statement recorded with the police.

Meanwhile, it was further informed that the accused had earlier “used the technique on Bhanwarlal’s tube well but suffered minor injuries in the blast.”

According to the report, he later used more gelatin sticks to attack Lal Singh.

Apart from the accused, the police is also probing the role of the gangrape victim in the crime.
