New Delhi: While the students were busy studying in their classes, the sound of a bomb blast shook the school. The incident originated from Free India High School located on South Station Road in Titagarh district of North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Saturday.

A bomb blast on the roof of a school in Titagarh, North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal was reported. The incident has spread a sensation in the region. The police have started investigating the case. The incident caused panic among students, teachers and other staff.

Panic after the explosion

According to the information received, classes lasted until 11 a.m. at the school on Saturday. Suddenly, teachers and students heard a loud bang on the roof of the school. Due to this, panic has arisen among the students.

According to the information received, the explosion was reported on the stairs of the roof of the school. As a result of the explosion, part of the roof blew off. The police were immediately notified. Titagarh police reached the spot. After the explosion, scattered pieces were found.

We are investigating whether the bomb was thrown from outside the school or whether the bomb was planted in the school itself. The school is located in a densely populated area. The cause of the explosion is currently being investigated.

Khalid Tyeb, a teacher at that school said: “There was a very loud bang. We were sitting in the staff room at the time. At first we thought some bomb had gone off. Then I went outside and saw smoke coming from the school. After that we came to the terrace and saw that bombs was scattered around.

All this evidence is collected by the police. If the explosion had happened during the break, there could have been big reasons.
