New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan is busier than ever. Think about a typical day in the life of a celebrity. He just got home from a morning shoot. He goes to a photo shoot without a moment’s rest. It’s time for a magazine cover shoot or a TV commercial/signing in the evening. (He’s still India’s most marketable advertising force.) From starring in a one-of-a-kind fantasy film Brahmastra to reuniting with Sooraj Barjatya for Uunchai, the actor isn’t here to say goodbye.

Apart from his acting roles, Amitabh Bachchan has also won accolades for lending his voice to many films. Undoubtedly, he is an acting superstar, but along with that, his voice is recognized and respected by all, as compiled by the makers of Radhe Shyam.

Bollywood has seen many films where Big B’s narration was one of the most important elements of the films. As the big B marks his 80th birthday, check out some of the movies he’s narrated.

Radhe Shyam

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in as the narrator for the Hindi version of Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam. Talking about associating Big B with the project, director Radha Krishan Kumar said that it required a narrator with a recognizable voice.

Lagaan

Amitabh Bachchan was the only one to match Lagaan’s powerful and respectable voice in this Aamir Khan film.

Jodhaa Akbar

Ashutosh Gowariker has once again sought Big B to dub his historical drama Jodhaa Akbar. This time the film starred none other than Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan’s real-life daughter-in-law.

Parineeta

In an interview, she mentioned that lending her voice to Parineeta made her nostalgic because of her strong association with Bengali culture and literature.

Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost

The Abhishek Bachchan starrer made a big impact on the audience and Amitabh Bachchan’s dubbing was just a cherry on top.

Gas attack

Amitabh Bachchan has voiced an important part of the film. The actor was also very much hooked by Rana Daggubati’s film.
