Aamir Khan breaks his silence on boycotting ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, read


New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan finally broke his silence on boycotting his upcoming film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’, ‘#BoycottLaalSinghChaddha’ is trending on Twitter. This movie has been in the headlines for a long time and will hit the theaters soon.

In a recent interview with a private tabloid, the actor said that he gets sad when people think that he doesn’t like India.

Aamir, who is returning to the big screen after a long time with this film, said, “It boycott Bollywood… Boycott Aamir Khan… Boycott Laal Singh Chadha… I’m also sad because a lot of people who say this in their hearts believe that I’m someone who doesn’t like India… In their hearts they believe that… And that’s completely wrong.”

I really love the country… That’s who I am. It is quite unfortunate if some people think like this.” Asking his fans and audience to give his film a fair chance, Aamir Khan told PTI, “I want to assure everyone that this is not the case, so don’t boycott my films, watch my films,” he added.

“Lal Singh Chaddha” is the Hindi remake of Robert Zemeck’s classic Hollywood movie “Forrest Gump” starring Tom Hanks. The Hindi version is directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

On the other hand, the trio of 3 Idiots will be seen again in this film which includes Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh and Aamir Khan who will be seen sharing the screen space. Apart from this, Naga Chaitanya is also making his Bollywood debut through ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’.

Forrest Gump tells the story of a man (Tom Hanks) who does extraordinary things in his life. However, his only goal is to be with his childhood love, Jenny. Laal Singh Chaddha will clash with Aanand L Rai at the box office with Raksha Bandhan.
