Aamir Khan humbly responds to calls for boycott of Laal Singh Chaddh…

New Delhi: On the one hand, Aamir Khan is preparing for his upcoming release Laal Singh Chaddha, but on the other hand, netizens are readily trending the hashtag #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha. Yesterday, Akshay Kumar spoke about the trend and expressed his displeasure.

Now Aamir Khan has disclosed the calls for a boycott. Speaking at a press conference, Aamir said: “If I’ve hurt anyone in any way, I regret it. I don’t want to hurt anyone. If someone doesn’t want to see the film, I would respect their opinion.”
Aamir made these statements while attending an event celebrating 25 years of PVR Cinemas. He was very humble when addressing the media.

“But I want as many people as possible to see the film. We’ve put a lot of effort into it. Filmmaking is teamwork. There are so many people connected to it. It’s not just me,” the actor added.

He further said that he was a bit nervous about the release of Laal Singh Chaddha and had not slept for 48 hours. “I’m very nervous right now. It’s been 48 hours and I haven’t slept. I’m not kidding, I can’t sleep. My brain is in overdrive, so I read books or play chess online. I won’t be able to sleep until after August 11th.”

A video of the press conference was posted by paparazzi account Viral Bhayani.

There have been rumors before that the trolls were “paid for” as a publicity stunt that the film Advait Chandan led to. In a hilarious Instagram post, he wrote: “I’ve been told people get paid to troll Aamir Sir. This is deeply upsetting to hear and downright unfair. Why did I troll him for free?” and added the hashtag #PayEveryTroll.
