AAP will be national, natural place for Congress: Raghav Chadha

new Delhi: After exit polls predicted a clear majority for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Punjab Assembly elections, party leader Raghav Chadha said the party is going to be the national and natural replacement of the Congress.

Raghav Chadha said, “Exit poll results show that the people of Punjab have voted overwhelmingly for change. People have rejected traditional political parties. AAP is now a national and fastest growing political party. AAP There is going to be a national and natural replacement of Congress.” said.

Several polls predicted AAP, which is currently in power in Delhi, winning a massive victory in Punjab. Most exit polls had predicted that the ruling Congress would come second in the state, followed by the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), which had allied with the Bahujan Samaj Party. According to the surveys, the good performance of BJP and its allies has not been predicted.

If the results come out as predicted by the exit polls, it will be the first time that AAP will come to power in Punjab. AAP had declared Bhagwant Mann as its chief ministerial candidate in the state.

Polling in Punjab was held on February 20, while the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
