New Delhi: Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest healing systems. Today, we are all well aware of the prominence of this age-old science and Acharya Manish has played a major part to make this a reality. How he came to become such a distinguished figure stems from a story of his childhood. When no doctors, astrologers or prescriptions could cure him, as a young boy of 14, Acharya Manish turned to Ayurveda and was astonished by the difference it made to his health. As a result of his determination, he has today set up Shuddhi Ayurveda, with 160 Ayurvedic clinics across India, with 250 Ayurvedic doctors, 15 dieticians, 15 BHMS doctors, two super speciality hospitals in Chandigarh and New Delhi, and an Ayurveda school. His Gurukul in Chandigarh has a unique operational model, in which it creates awareness about how to stay healthy and cure disorders holistically through Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, and other natural therapeutic approaches. According to him, Shuddhi Ayurveda’s clinics handle 11,000 patients every month across India on an average. Shuddhi Ayurveda’s products can be found on the company’s website as well as on Amazon. According to the Registrar of Companies (RoC) records, Shuddhi Ayurveda had a turnover of Rs 95 crore in FY 19-20.
