KJ Srivatsan, Jaipur: After Gyanvapi Masjid and Qutub Minar in Varanasi, now questions have also been raised about the famous Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah located in Ajmer, Rajasthan. An organisation called Maharana Pratap Sena has claimed this dargah complex to be a Hindu temple.

The national president of this organisation, Rajvardhan Singh Parmar, has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, claiming in this regard, raising the demand for archaeological survey of the dargah complex. The organisation has claimed that there are Hindu religious symbols at many places inside the dargah, in which the symbol of the swastika is said to be prominent.

Rajvardhan Singh Parmar, the national president of Maharana Pratap Sena, has said in this regard that the dargah of Khwaja Garib Nawaz in Ajmer was earlier a Hindu temple, he has written in the letter demanding that if the dargah should be surveyed by the Archaeological Department. He said that strong evidence of the existence of a Hindu temple will be found there.

Recently, 810th Urs of Khwaja Garib Nawaz was celebrated. At the same time, according to the experts of the dargah, its history is 900 years old. But till now no such strong claim has been made in the history that the dargah was built by demolishing a Hindu temple. After the claim, Anjuman Syed Jadgan, an organization of Khadimo in the dargah, has denied this claim.

He said that the dargah has its own history and it would be foolish to talk such things in it. This dargah is famous in the world for Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb. But such claims are not new. These days more claims are being made which are being made only to spread anarchy in the country.

After this case, the security of the dargah has been increased. Information is also being received about the visit of the administrative officials to the dargah.
