New Delhi: Alia Bhatt is currently basking in the success of her latest release Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva. This is the actress’ first time collaborating on a project with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it’s managed to regain its footing in theaters and Bollywood can’t be happier. Amid all of this, Alia Bhatt has shared a new still with Shiva and Isha from the sets of the film, much to the excitement of fans.

On Tuesday morning, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram section to share an unseen image from the archives. The picture, as Alia shared, was clicked during the filming of the Brahmastra song Deva Deva. In the picture, Alia is looking straight at the camera while Ranbir fixes his eyes on something else. Sharing the pic, Alia wrote in the caption, “Shiva & Isha, one from the archives – during the Deva Deva shoot.” Check out Alias ​​post below:

Brahmastra cash collection

Brahmastra has so far managed to gross over Rs 143 crore in India. The fantasy drama grossed Rs 16.25 crore on Monday despite mixed reviews. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film collected Rs 65 crore overseas, bringing its global total to around Rs 209 crore in four days. Brahmastra recorded the 5th largest grossing for a Bollywood film in overseas markets, after Padmaavat (US$11.50 million), Dhoom 3 (US$10.30 million), Sultan (US$9.60 million), Dilwale ($8.80 million) and Dangal ($8.70 million).

Brahmastra Part 2: Dev

Brahmastra is a three part trilogy. In the closing credits of Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva, the creators announced the name of the second part – Brahmastra Part 2: Dev. If the rumors are to be believed, Ranveer will be playing the role of Dev, while Deepika will be starring as his love interest Amrita.

Brahmastra was released amid ongoing calls for a boycott and several related controversies. Moreover, after numerous consecutive failures, it carried the weight of the fortunes of the Hindi film industry. Brahmastra, the first film in a planned trilogy, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone make brief cameos.
