New Delhi: Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has launched its new electric SUV, the BYD Atto 3, in India. The bookings for this electric car have also started, which customers can book with a token deposit of just ₹50,000. The ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 34 lakh. More than 1,500 people have booked this car so far. Customers will receive this car from January. In the Indian market, this car will compete with Hyundai KONA and MG ZS EV.

The BYD Atto 3 electric motor produces 201 bph of power and 310 Nm of torque. The car is equipped with a 60.48 kWh battery, capable of a range of 521 km on a single charge. According to the company, Blade Battery technology has been used in this electric car, which makes this battery extremely safe. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. This car can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 50 minutes with a fast charger.


Features of the electric car include a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Flat-bottomed steering wheels, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster and a Level 2 ADAS system are available. This car competes with MG ZS EV, let’s see what is special about this MG car.

The engine of MG’s electric car produces 176 hp. Which is connected to a 50.3 kWh battery. The range of the car is 461 km. The ZS EV also gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, seven-inch digital driver display, panoramic sunroof and power driver’s seat, 360-degree camera, connected car tech, rear AC vents and wireless phone charger. The ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 22.58 lakh.
