Amitabh Bachchan’s film takes a slow step

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna’s film is finally opening in theatres, but according to early box office predictions, the film took a small step at the box office. The film marks the Hindi film debut of Rashmika Mandanna.

The first box office report stands with the film minting Rs 2-3 crores on its opening day. The figure is low considering that the entries were low. Like the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund, aka Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34, films without a stylish image are visible in both OTT and theatres. The bye seems to fall into the same category, based on trade buzz.

The film also faces competition from Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer Vikram Vedha and Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: I. Meanwhile, Vikram Vedha is also struggling with the numbers and PS-1 has already collected the Rs. 300 brand worldwide.
