An Ayan Mukerji film will soon join the Rs 200 crore club

New Delhi: The most awaited movie of the year ‘Brahmastra Part one: Shiva’ is a super hit and earned huge numbers at the box office. The film managed to break all the records on its opening day. The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer is expected to end its opening week with collections of Rs 170 crore, making it the highest Bollywood film since the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, the film’s next week target is around Rs 35 crore and if it achieves the target, it will cross Rs 200 crore in just ten days.

Brahmastra vs Sooryanvanshi

According to Indian box office, Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra is doing better than Rohit Shetty’s film Sooryanvanshi in many places. “The film has surpassed Sooryavanshi in some tracks like East Punjab and Mysore in just six days and many more tracks will follow in the next few days. Only in Mumbai and CP Berar Sooryavanshi is staying higher post pandemic and that’s because Sooryavanshi was a BLOCKBUSTER in Maharashtra and in Gujarat,” the report said.
