Anti dengue drive conducted by health department, municipal corporation in Dehradun


Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], October 12 (ANI): According to the district administration, dengue larvae survey, source reduction, spraying and fogging were carried out in the sensitive and dengue affected areas of Dehradun district on Tuesday as part of the anti-dengue campaign.

This campaign was run by the State Health Department in association with the Municipal Corporation Dehradun.

Larvae were found at various places which were destroyed by the teams involved. A public awareness campaign is also being run under this campaign, in which people are being made aware of this disease through pamphlets. Health workers and municipal corporations are continuously monitoring the areas. Prompt and effective action is being taken if any dengue patient is found.

According to the district administration, three dengue patients have been reported from Dehradun district today. A total of 56 cases of dengue have been found in the district. (ANI)
