Geneva, Switzerland): India on Tuesday pulled up Pakistan at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for raising bilateral issues in multilateral fora and said Pakistan’s top leadership has openly admitted that its military and intelligence agency (ISI) has attacked Afghanistan. Terrorist groups have been formed to fight in Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

In exercise of its right of reply in response to the absurd and malicious statements made by Pakistan at the OIC General Debate Session during the 49th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), India said, “It is shameful that a country, whose The top leadership has openly admitted that its military and intelligence agency have created terrorist groups and trained them to fight in Afghanistan and the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, making comments about the human rights of people in India. It’s audacious.”

India also categorically rejected the reference to the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the OIC statement and said that Pakistan is using the OIC platform for its own agenda against India.

“It is regrettable that session by session the OIC has allowed its platform to be exploited by Pakistan to serve its anti-India agenda. The OIC member states appear helpless in preventing Pakistan from undermining the interests of the OIC member states. ”

Indramani Pandey, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said at the UNHRC, “The forum for dialogue and constructive engagement offered by the Council this August has been misused again by Pakistan.” (ANI)
