The limited edition Q5 carries a premium of Rs 84,000 over the special edition technology trim but remains mechanically unchanged.
Audi Q5 Special Edition: View Updates
The new Special Edition Q5 was available in two exclusive paint colors – District Green and Ibis White. This includes a blacked-out exterior mirror finish, Audi logo on the grille and tailgate, new graphite gray finish for the roof rails and 5-spoke wheels.
And while there are no changes to the interior or front trim, Audi is offering a specially priced accessories package that includes a running board and an ‘Audi Ring’ foil in silver. However, Audi has not specified the price of the accessories package above the showroom price.
Based on top-of-the-line technology, the special edition Q5 carries all the equipment already offered in the first edition. This includes a panoramic sunroof, power front seats with memory, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, Park Assist Plus and 8 airbags.
Audi Q5 Special Edition: Mechanically unchanged
Under the hood, the special edition Q5 continues with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with 249 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Audi quattro all-wheel drive system is standard equipment. The Special Edition Q5 gets Adaptive Suspension and six modes to choose from, Audi Drive Select.
