New Delhi: Cricket is a gentleman’s game and is played with a lot of strategy but there are moments that leave the fans laughing. One such incident happened in the second ODI between Australia and New Zealand when the two batsmen were mistaken for running between the wickets.
It was the series of mistakes by both teams that led to a funny situation on the field. On the fifth ball of the game, Kane Williamson bowled and ran for a single, but Devon Conway, who was at the non-striking end, decided not to complete the run and ran back.

By this time, Williamson had completed more than half of the race, but seeing Conway coming back, he made a U-turn. At the same time, Conway tried to follow Williamson and go towards the end of the impact.
For Australia, it was Sean Abbott’s fault as he failed to get hold of the ball in the first half and when he did, he lobbed it past keeper Alex Carey. He couldn’t hit straight on the stumps and missed the golden opportunity to dismiss the New Zealand skipper.
