Australia won the first T20I by 4 runs


Mohali: Australia have won the first T20I against India in the three-match series after powerful knocks from Cameroon Green and Matthew Wade.

INDvsAUS: Rahul and Pandya shine

India, led by Rohit Sharma, completed 208 runs with three players’ heroics. KL Rahul is off to a great start for the team as he bats at 157. When 55 ran in 35, it laid a strong foundation.

Suryakumar Kumar Yadav then backed up with 46 runs with Hardik Pandya shocking everyone with his 30-ball 71 Runs and not to mention a little asterisk next to his name.

Australia shares the responsibility

When Australia came chasing the score, the responsibility for the runs was shared among all the batsmen. With openers Aaron Finch and Cameron Green scoring 22 and 61 runs each, all other players contributed. Wade scored 48 runs and 35 came from the bat of Steven Smith.

The visitors successfully chased runs with 4 balls left in the innings and only three Indian bowlers managed to take wickets.
