Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi Temple hoists Tricolor


New Delhi: The national flag was hoisted at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex in Ayodhya on Sunday as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The fervor of the campaign reached the Ram Temple construction site premises where people gathered to observe Har Ghar Tiranga. Workers engaged in the construction of the temple, for which Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone on August 5, 2020, also participated in the national campaign, which is receiving a strong response from people all over the country.

The gesture of confidence was appreciated by the Prime Minister. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign started on Saturday and will continue till August 15. The campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav aims to encourage people to take the Tiranga home and hang it to commemorate the 75th year of India’s independence.

“Following the call of Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji, the Tiranga National Flag was hoisted at the site of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya ji. Trust officials and construction workers overwhelmingly participated in the initiative,” Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, in-charge of the temple’s construction, tweeted on Saturday.
In response, PM Modi tweeted, “This is a very special gesture that has enriched the #HarGharTiranga movement.”

Construction workers observed the campaign celebrating Tiranga before Independence Day. The managers of the board have also participated in the campaign.
Devotees also participated in the celebration of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
