Azealia Banks accuses ex-manager of controlling, manipulating her

Los Angeles: Rapper Azealia Banks has accused Kwatinetz of controlling and molesting her, in response to a defamation lawsuit by her former manager Jeff Kwatinetz.

In new paperwork obtained by Rolling Stone on Thursday, Banks claimed, “(Quatinetz) attempted to control and manipulate Banks so that he would ultimately be attractive to the 23-year-old from Harlem by making him attractive and attempting to convince him that He loves her, can steal from her.”

He continued to read the legal documents, “he would repeatedly tell her in e-mails that he loved her, slept with her and sent her gifts.”

“Under the circumstances, the amount of alleged cost and expenditure is outrageous,” the cross-complaint from the banks further stated. The 30-year-old also alleged that the company “refused” to provide him with “backup for basically any expense”.

Kwatinetz first sued Banks for defamation and stalking on September 24 last year. However, he decided to drop the case in March this year. Then on September 20, he filed a follow-up complaint with similar reasons for defamation, trade libel and stalking.
