“The three-member committee comprises BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla, BCCI Treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal and BCCI Apex Council member Prabhatej Singh Bhatia. The committee will begin proceedings early next week,” the BCCI said in a statement.
Saha, a centrally contracted cricketer, was allegedly threatened by a senior journalist for not responding to his messages, in which he had asked for an interview.
The BCCI said that after taking cognizance of the matter, the apex board approached Saha and decided to constitute a three-member committee to probe the matter.
Saha on Tuesday refused to reveal the name of the journalist who threatened the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman after he was dropped from the team against Sri Lanka. (ANI)
