Nagpur (Maharashtra) [India], Oct 16 (ANI): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday alleged that before the abrogation of Article 370, around 80 per cent of the funds allocated to Jammu and Kashmir went into the pockets of political leaders.
Speaking at an event in Maharashtra’s Nagpur, Bhagwat said, “Before the abrogation of Article 370, 80 per cent of what was done for the Kashmir Valley went into the pockets of political leaders and did not reach the people. Now, After this the people of Kashmir Valley are experiencing direct access to development and benefits.”
Bhagwat further said, “I visited Jammu and Kashmir and saw the current situation. After the abrogation of Article 370, the path of development has been opened for all. Discrimination was done earlier in Jammu and Ladakh on the pretext of Article 370. He doesn’t discriminate.” no longer exists.”
In August 2019, the central government abrogated Article 370 giving special rights to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated the region into two categories- Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. (ANI)]]>
