Around 75,000 women will be linked with state banks, get loans at affordable rates and will get the benefit of state subsidy under PM Mudra Yojana for three months.

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday launched the ‘Nirbhaya-Ek Pahal’ program under Mission Shakti-Phase 3 here on Wednesday to bring women voters to the saffron fold in the state assembly elections to be held next year.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that around 75,000 women will join state banks, get loans at affordable rates and get the benefits of state subsidy under PM Mudra Yojana for three months.

UP said, “Before 2017 there was an atmosphere of chaos. Families were afraid of stepping out of their daughters and sisters’ house. We first started Anti-Romeo Squad to tackle this issue. Through our initiative, We have achieved many goals.” CM said.

“The number of women personnel in the UP police force was negligible before 2017. Now we have 30,000 women constables… Women can promote the work of readymade garments and we want UP to be the center. If we give them the necessary facilities supply, they will overtake Vietnam and China.”

Earlier, the state government had claimed to provide free legal advice, counseling and creating awareness about basic rights to 91,691 women through its 75 ‘One Stop Centers’ across the state under Mission Shakti.
