He added, “Elytra will enhance synergy, it has linked our party… Its effects, if any, will be felt during the 2024 elections.”
Speaking to the media, the Congress leader, who is one of the key leaders involved in promoting the Bharat Jodo Yatra, may claim that the march helps the party reconnect with those it has forgotten after coming to power.
“This yatra promotes door-to-door communication which is what we have forgotten. We have forgotten what we were in power with, but we remember that with yatra now,” added Jairam Ramesh.
The Bharat Gudu Yatra party was started by Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi on September 7, which aimed to revive the grand party across the country. The march which started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu will conclude in Srinagar, Kashmir.
During her trip, a number of public addresses will be held. Gandhi covers approximately 25 km daily and talks with those who join the yatra including the locals.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra is currently located in Maharashtra and will enter Madhya Pradesh on November 20.
