Bharat Rashtra Samiti demands action against BJP’s ‘tantrik’ remarks

Mumbai: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Tuesday appealed to the Election Commission (EC) to take action against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders over their “occult” remarks.

“We reject these allegations as false, fabricated to create and spread hatred among the people, especially the voters of Munugode Constituency. [Mr Rao or ‘KCR’] As a non-believer in God and a believer in devils and demons,” it was quoted NDTV.

Earlier, in a scathing attack on the Telangana CM, state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar claimed that KCR will take a decision after consulting the Tantriks. He alleged that KCR also performs black magic in his residence.

Bandi said on Saturday, “Every month, KCR performs occult rituals in his farmhouse using a black cat. Even the renaming of TRS as Bharat Rashtra Samiti was on the advice of this tantrik, who told KCR that if he does not change the name of the party, it will lose the assembly elections.”
