Can we get ration without card?
The government told Parliament that you don’t need a ration card to get rations from the government’s cheap galley shop. Food and Public Distribution Minister Piyush Goyal stated in Parliament that ration card holders no longer need to show their cards to receive rations.
Ration card and Aadhaar number will have to be mentionedÂ
Actually, the government has launched the ‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ programme in the country. According to government data, 77 crore people in the country are linked to the ‘One Nation, One Ration Card.’ Following that, people can obtain rations by visiting the nearest ration shop in their area and providing their ration card number and Aadhaar number. They will then be given rations.
People from 35 states includedÂ
Piyush Goyal stated that new technology has simplified the process of rationing. He also stated that ration card users account for 96.8 percent of the total population of 77 crore people. This includes citizens from 35 states and union territories.
The Union Minister stated that if a person’s ration card is from his home state and he lives in another city or state due to work or other family obligations, he can obtain ration by providing the ration card number and Aadhaar card information. There will be no need to show the original copy of the ration card for this.
