Bihar: Medical college students set fire to medicine shops in Darbhanga

Darbhanga (Bihar): Several medicine shops were torched by a group of medical college students in Bihar’s Darbhanga, police said.

A member of the trade union said, “The students went to a medical shop to demand drugs related to narcotics, but they were denied. The students got furious and an argument ensued,” ANI reported.

Meanwhile, police forces have been deployed inside the DMCH premises for the safety of the doctors, informed Darbhanga SDPO KN Kumar.

KN Kumar said, “Emergency services have resumed. Drug trade union of Darbhanga is protesting demanding the arrest of the accused students. Action will be taken against those involved.”
