Satish Kaushik passed away: In the wee hours of Thursday, actor Anupam Kher took to Twitter to announce that actor-director Satish Kaushik had passed away (March 9).
Expressing his condolences, Anupam Kher tweeted, “I know death is the ultimate truth of the world! But not even in my wildest dreams did I think that one day I would be writing about my best friend. Such a sudden moment for a 45-year-old friendship!! Life will NEVER be the same without you, SATISH!.”

About Satish Kaushik
He is an Indian actor, comedian, screenwriter, director and producer. He was born on 13 April 1965 in Haryana. He acted in cinema before breaking into Bollywood.
In his film acting career, he most notably played Naptár in the superhero film Mr. India in 1987, Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana in 1997, and Chanu Ahmed in Sarah Gavron’s 2007 British film Brick Lane. The Filmfare Best Comedian Award was also given to Satish Kaushik in 1990 by Ram Lakhan and in 1997 by Saajan Chale Sasural.
He is survived by his wife and a daughter.
