Kejriwal claimed that 10 AAP MLAs from Punjab were approached by the BJP.
“They buy MLAs, break governments,” Kejriwal was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
The AAP government accused the BJP of trying to topple its Punjab government by wooing MLAs with money or threatening them with the help of central agencies — the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
“In the last seven days, seven to 10 of our MLAs have been approached by the BJP either directly or through its ‘agents’ at the two agencies,” senior state minister Harpal Cheema told mediapersons yesterday.
The finance minister also claimed that ‘Operation Lotus’ is now being launched in Punjab, which was earlier tried in Delhi, Maharashtra, MP, Goa and Rajasthan.
“They approached our MLAs with an offer of Rs 25 lakh each to break away from AAP.”
