In terms of dimensions, the BYD Atto 3 measures 4,455mm in length, 1,875mm in width and 1,615mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,720mm. With a weight of 1,750 kg, the Atto 3 offers a trunk volume of 440 liters and a ground clearance of 175 mm.

The BYD Atto 3 is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that produces 201 hp and 310 Nm of peak torque. The electric motor only drives the front wheels and also features regenerative braking technology. BYD specifies a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds for the Atto 3.

The Atto 3 is expected to be offered with two batteries in India. There is a battery with a capacity of 49.92 kWh, which provides a range of 345 km with WLTP certification. BYD is also likely to offer an extended-range version that uses a larger 60.48 kWh battery and offers a WLTP-certified range of 420 km per charge. The Atto 3 is compatible with DC fast charging up to 80 kW.
