BYD Atto 3 electric SUV launched in India: Price, features and other details


New Delhi: Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has launched its electric SUV, the BYD Atto 3, in India. This electric car has been priced at Rs 34 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has so far received about 1,500 reservations for the Atto 3 electric SUV. BYD unveiled the Atto 3 electric SUV earlier last month and it was available for booking from October 11. Customers can book this SUV for Rs 50,000. Deliveries of the electric SUV will start from January next year. In India, it will compete with Hyundai KONA and MG ZS EV.

Total charging range 521 km

In the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV, it gets an ARAI certificate of 521 km. Its battery is 60.48 kWh. Its engine has an output of 201 horsepower/hour and a torque of 310 Nm. The company claims that they have used blade battery technology in the vehicle, which has a very low chance of fire.

It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. It can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes via a DC fast charger. A level 2 ADAS system was added to the car.

This is an electric SUV with enough features. You get a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, flat-bottom steering wheel, 5-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way adjustable front passenger seat and wireless charging are available.
