New Delhi: Canada-based renowned entrepreneur Jass Dhillon has announced the organization of the annual World Kabaddi Cup in Winnipeg.
The previous season was organized by the United Brothers Club under the aegis of Dhillon and its great success has prompted the organization of another event.
While sharing the details, Dhillon said: “The United Brothers Club will organize the World Kabaddi Cup for the coming years, which will bring together all international Kabaddi teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, USA, Iran, Iraq and… various other countries will participate.”
He also shared that this initiative is part of a long-term vision to bring alive the Indian culture that has always attracted people around the world.
Kabaddi has become an international sport in recent years, gaining recognition not only in Asian countries but in all parts of the world.
Dhillon shares a passion for sport and believes sport is an integral part of everyone’s life.
“Sport is an integral part of everyone’s life and plays a fundamental role in personality development. Sport is important not only for young people but for people of all ages as it is the gateway to a healthy, happy and positive life,” he said.
The winners and outstanding performers receive awards and prizes from the World Kabaddi Cup. The tournament will be broadcast on various TV channels and on YouTube.
