New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday questioned Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav’s secretary in an alleged land-for-job scam.

Sanjay Yadav was summoned by the CBI on Saturday to appear before the agency on Saturday, a day after the chargesheet was filed in the case of Tejashwi’s father Lalu Prasad, mother Rabri Devi and sister Misa Bharti, news agency PTI quoted officials as saying. was.

Officials said Sanjay, who had served as Tejashwi’s personal secretary during his first term as deputy CM in 2015, had been summoned earlier too, but he challenged the CBI’s notice before the Delhi High Court. was given.

What is the employment scam for land?

It is alleged that between 2004-2009, when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister, Yadav had allegedly encroached upon his land in lieu of giving him a job.

According to the complaint letter filed in this case, Lalu Yadav had taken land at prime location in lieu of job.

On receiving the complaint, the CBI investigated the matter and filed a charge sheet against 16 including Lalu Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi in ​​this case.
