Petrol diesel price today: Indian oil marketing companies released the latest petrol and diesel prices on Wednesday (October 12) amid the continued rise in crude oil prices in the international market.

However, the Indian oil companies kept prices for gasoline and diesel stable on Wednesday (October 12). Thus, today is the 144th day in a row that petrol and diesel prices have not changed in the country. On the inflation front, even today, the common folk got some relief.

As usual, Indian oil marketing companies released the latest petrol and diesel prices today as crude oil prices continued to rise in the international market. However, the Indian oil companies kept prices for gasoline and diesel stable on Wednesday (October 12).

Thus, today is the 144th day in a row that petrol and diesel prices have not changed in the country. On the inflation front, even today, the common folk got some relief.

State oil companies released petrol and diesel prices for Wednesday 12th October. Oil companies have made no changes to gasoline and diesel prices, bringing relief to common folk for the 144th straight day.

That is, even today the prices of Tej are stable. In the international market there is a slight weakening of the price of crude oil. The price of WTI crude has fallen to $91 a barrel and Brent crude has touched almost $96 a barrel.

On May 21, the government lowered the consumption tax. The excise duty on petrol has been reduced by Rs. 8 per liter and diesel by Rs. 6 per liter. Since then, petrol and diesel prices have fallen. After that, diesel became cheaper in the country by 9.50 rupees and 7 rupees per liter.

Following the center’s announcement, the governments of Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Odisha and Kerala also reduced VAT. Currently in Delhi, petrol costs 96.72 rupees per liter and diesel costs 89.62 rupees per liter.

At the same time, petrol costs Rs 106.31 and diesel Rs 94.27 per liter in Mumbai. While in Kolkata petrol costs Rs 106.03 and diesel costs Rs 92.76 per litre. On the other hand, in Chennai, petrol costs Rs 102.63 and diesel costs Rs 94.24 per liter.

The cheapest petrol and diesel are sold in Port Blair. Where the petrol price is 84.10 rupees per liter and the diesel price is 79.74 rupees per liter.
