CLAT 2023: The last date to register for the Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) is tomorrow, November 13th. The National Consortium of Law Universities (NLU) began submitting the CLAT 2023 application on August 8, which will close registration for the Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UG). Candidates can apply for the Common Law Admission Test on the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in

The test will take place on December 18th. The Federation will release CLAT 2023 paper forms to inform candidates of the format and pattern of the examination. The first and second sample papers have already been released, while the third CLAT sample paper will be released soon.

CLAT 2023: How to register?

  • Go to the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in –
  • Click on the link for CLAT 2023 on the website
  • Now click on Register
  • Register with the required information
  • Now, log in and fill out the application form
  • Submit the application fee
  • After completing the process, take a printout of the application

To be considered eligible for CLAT 2023, students must have passed Class 12 or appeared on a board exam. Applicants who have completed their LLB or are in the final year of LLB courses can apply for the CLAT LLM.

For CLAT UG, applicants must have achieved 45 percent of marks or its equivalent in the qualifying test and 50 percent of marks for CLAT PG. However, eligible marks for Reserved Union Class students will be mitigated.

Exam pattern

CLAT UG 2023 Question Paper will contain 150 MCQs of English, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques. While the PG question paper covers constitutional law, other areas of law such as jurisprudence, administrative law, contract law, torts, family law, criminal law, property law, corporate law, public international law, tax law, environmental law, labor and industrial law .
