New Delhi: The COVID-19 cases in the national capital have been increasing in the last few days. The health bulletin said that 125 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Delhi on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 102 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Delhi, while on Monday the cases were below hundred and stood at 91.
No COVID-19 death was reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. 58 patients have been cured of coronavirus in the national capital today.
According to the health bulletin, there are 624 active cases of COVID-19 in Delhi.
In the last 24 hours, 6,802 samples were tested for COVID-19 through rapid antigen test. In the same period, 56,511 samples were tested through RT-PCR/CBNAAT/True Net tests.
Delhi positivity rate is now 0.20 per cent.
37,295 people have taken their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, while 80,186 people have been fully vaccinated in the national capital.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Delhi has the highest number of omicron cases. There are 57 cases of the new variant of COVID-19 in the national capital.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Delhi government has banned gatherings in the NCT for Christmas and New Years.

The District Magistrate and Delhi Police have been directed to comply with the orders and officials have been asked to submit daily reports.
