Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and health workers for the significant achievement of 100 crore vaccinations in the country.

India’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign was launched on January 16, 2021.

He said that the defeat of coronavirus is certain when the milestone is accomplished.

“Record 100 crore COVID vaccines have been made available in the country so far. This is the result of efficient leadership of @narendramodi, hard work of committed health workers and participation of disciplined citizens. Corona’s defeat is certain.” Adityanath in a tweet.

In a historic achievement, India’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed 100 crore doses on Thursday. According to the CoWIN portal, a total of 100 crore vaccine doses have been given so far to the eligible beneficiaries at 9:47 am today.
