Delayed ejection due to wet pitch, rain spoilers

Nagpur: The draw between India and Australia was delayed due to stadium humidity and weather forecasts suggest the game could be severely affected by rain.

It has been raining for the past several hours in the city and therefore, could play a spoiler today when India is upright against Australia in the third T20I.

Before the match, India star Suryakumar Yadav said: “It has been a great journey. A great journey so far and I am working hard for everything. I enjoyed hitting all around but number four is perfect for me. It helps me control the game. I enjoy hitting when The pressure is high. The most important challenge in Australia will be for us to be smart in our picks. Everything else remains the same.”
