Delhi Police arrested five in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old man

New Delhi: The Delhi Police has registered a case against five persons for allegedly lynching a 21-year-old man after a fight in the national capital. The police gave this information on Wednesday.

According to the police, a PCR call was received for a fight in PS Adarsh ​​Nagar area at around 1.30 pm on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. As soon as the information was received, the police immediately reached the spot at Mile Wala Park in Azadpur, Delhi and found the dead body lying in a pool of blood.

The deceased has been identified as Hrithik (21), a resident of Azadpur Railway Line. He was later taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Preliminary investigation of the case revealed that five men thrashed him and fled from the spot. While investigating, the police have identified all the people by analyzing the CCTV footage and started raiding all the possible places.

An FIR has been registered against all the five persons in Adarsh ​​Nagar under sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. Detailed information in the matter is awaited.
