PBKS gives you a fitness update
Punjab Kings took to Twitter to update the practice of both the players. However, the franchise has not released an official statement regarding the fitness of both players.
Shikhar Aptitude Test to be given
Skipper Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out of the last match due to injury; in his absence, Sam Curran led the team. On the other hand, Livingstone has not played a single match in IPL 2023 so far. According to reports, the pair will undergo a fitness test 24 hours before the Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore encounter. Curran confirmed that Dhawan had a shoulder injury.
According to InsideSport, when asked about the injuries, a senior PBKS official said – nothing can be said for now. It’s time for the next game. We will receive an update from the gym 24 hours before the match. Gabbar was in the dugout in the last match but did not appear on the team’s social media pages after that. Although now there are signs of his return. In his absence, Atharva Tayde made his debut while Harpreet Bhatia was also drafted in for his first IPL match.
Livingstone hits the practice net
As for Liam Livingstone, he has yet to feature in IPL 2023. The England all-rounder arrived in India only last week and has been associated with the team ever since. However, his return was further delayed after he strained his hamstring during the Punjab Kings training session last week. RCB’s participation in the clash also depends on the fitness test. Although they have already seen it during practice. He last played competitive cricket in December.

PBKS vs LSG Match Review
Despite his absence, Punjab Kings had a hard-fought win against Lucknow Super Giants last time out. At the Ekana Stadium, Sikandar Raza scored a brilliant half-century while Shah Rukh Khan put the finishing touches with a brilliant performance.
