Moeen Ali is worried about Dawid Malan

England vice-captain Moeen Ali is concerned about Malan’s injury and said it was not looking good. Speaking to the BBC, Ali revealed his injury “doesn’t look good”.

He said: “He’s a great player and has been for a number of years. He was one of our best players. I don’t know but it (Malan’s injury) doesn’t look good.”

“It doesn’t get any bigger and better than playing India anywhere in the world because of the crowd and they are such a big team and force in cricket,” he added.

Who will replace David Malan?

Currently, Phil Salt is the only player in the England squad who can replace the star batsman. However, Malan’s exclusion can have many negative effects on England’s performance in the game.
