New Delhi, [India], October 17 (ANI): Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that ensuring happiness and prosperity in the eyes of every needy is the “Modi Mission”.
His remarks came during the free distribution of various medical aid equipments to Divyangjans and senior citizens at Mahatma Gandhi Stadium in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri A Narayanaswamy was also present on the occasion.
ALIMCO, Kanpur distributed various medical aids like Tricycles, Wheelchairs, Crutches, Walkers, Prosthetic and Orthotic Devices, Hearing aids free of cost to about 2000 Divyangjans and Senior Citizens of different parts of Rampur under “ADIP and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana”. Naqvi said that during the last 7 years, the government has focused on good governance, inclusive growth and “empowerment without appeasement” of the poor and weaker sections.
On this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Minister Baldev Aulakh, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council member Dr. Jaipal Singh Vyas, Surya Prakash Pal, President of Packfed, BJP Rampur President Abhay Gupta and senior officials were also present on the occasion.
Naqvi also visited “Hunar Haat” to be organized at Numaish Maidan, Rampur.
Union Ministry of Minority Affairs and Handicrafts Export Promotion Council are working together to provide attractive packaging and market to indigenous handmade products of artisans and craftsmen. Canara Bank has set up a camp at “Hunar Haat” to provide easy loans and other financial assistance to artisans and craftsmen.
Naqvi said that “Hunar Haat” is also available on GeM (Government e-Marketplace) which is providing indigenous products of artisans and craftsmen to the national and international market at large.
Around 700 artisans and craftsmen from more than 30 states and union territories have brought their indigenous products to “Hunar Haat” in Rampur. (ANI)]]>
