Dubai, UAE: Indian U-23 goalkeeper Dheeraj Singh expressed his happiness over joining the U-23 camp in Dubai for the upcoming qualifiers for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup.

The U23 camp in Dubai for the upcoming qualifiers of the AFC U23 Asian Cup comprises 20 players who have been a part of the Indian Arrows and a total of 18 players who have been part of the AIFF Academy setting up at one point or another. “Everyone looks forward to meeting their childhood friends once again – right? Indian midfielder Princeton Rebello, who was not part of the U-17 World Cup squad but was part of the academy system for the U19 national team, and Indian Arrows said he is ‘honoured’ to wear the national colour. .

Rebello said, “It feels great to be back with the team. It’s an honor to wear the national colors again. I’ll give my all, and everyone is inspired to do well.”

India will play Oman in their opening match of the AFC Under23 Asian Cup qualifiers on October 24, followed by matches against the UAE and Kyrgyz Republic respectively. (ANI)
