New Delhi: Popular Indian comedian Raju Srivastava died today at the age of 58. He was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. It was reported that Raju was working out at a gym on August 9th. While walking on a trading mill, he suddenly collapsed after suffering a stroke.

He was immediately admitted to AIIMS Delhi, where he underwent an angiography which showed that much of Raju’s heart is 100 percent blocked.

Raju had a medical history

Now it turned out that Raju was already a heart patient. It is said that Raju has had angioplasty twice before. He had angioplasty at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai about 10 years ago and then had angioplasty again at Lilavati Hospital about 7 years ago. Raju had previously been fitted with stents. A new stent was also inserted during this treatment.

Who was Raju Srivastava?

Raju Srivastava had made India crazy with his character Gajodhar in the show Laughter Challenge. Raju Srivastava aka Satyaprakash Srivastava was born into a middle-class family in Kanpur. From childhood, Raju was interested in imitating Prople. Everyone laughed at Raju’s facial expressions at school, among friends and at home, but then his mother said that life as a clown wouldn’t work.

Raju’s father, Rameshchandra Srivastava, was considered a great poet, but he kept poetry as a part-time occupation. Raju was also expected that comedy and facial expressions should not be an alternative to the job.

After watching Amitabh Bachchan’s Sholay and Deewar, Raju became a super fan of Big B. He started copying Amitabh Bachchan and stood up like him. Raju had faith in himself, but how could he gain the trust of his family members? The mother’s taunt becomes Raju’s excuse for going to Mumbai. But is Mumbai adopting anyone that quickly?

His fighting days and how he became famous

After many fights, he started his career with small roles in Bollywood films. He had a role in Rajshri Productions film Maine Pyar Kiya and other small roles in various films such as Baazigar and Bombay to Goa. He worked as an actor and comedian in the Bollywood film Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya.

In 2013, Raju took part in the sixth season of Nach Baliye along with his wife. He also appeared on Comedy Nights with Kapil. He also appeared in a show called Mazaak Mazaak Mein aka The Indian Mazaak League.
