Former India wicketkeeper Vijay Dahiya appointed head coach of UP

Dahiya was the Head Scout of Delhi Capitals during IPL 2020 and has vast experience of coaching the senior men’s side of Delhi in the past. Former wicket-keeper batsman Dahiya played 19 ODIs and two Test matches for India.

New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Vijay Dahiya has been appointed as the head coach of the Uttar Pradesh senior men’s team.

The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) on Thursday welcomed Dahiya and said that the team is looking forward to a wonderful journey with him. UPCA tweeted, “#TeamUPCA welcomes our newly appointed Head Coach, Former Team India Wicket-Keeper & Batsman – Mr @vijdahiye. We look forward to a wonderful journey to achieve all our dreams under his proven mentorship.” We do.”
