Four terrorists including a Pakistani were killed in Kashmir, one was caught alive.

Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Army and paramilitary forces on Friday evening launched five separate anti-militancy operations at three locations in South, one each in North and Central Kashmir, during which four terrorists have been killed and one terrorist has been killed so far. has been captured alive.

Kashmir’s Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar told News24 that four to five anti-terrorist operations were launched yesterday during which two terrorists belonging to banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Muhammad were killed in Pulwama and one from Lashkar-e-Taibe. One terrorist was killed in Ganderbal. and Handwara. The IGP said a terrorist was also caught alive in one of the encounters.

“The operation is over in Pulwama and Handwara, but the encounter is on in Ganderbal area, while there may be another encounter,” the IGP said.

The encounter comes close on the heels of the Hazratbal firing in which a foreign terrorist was killed and two others managed to escape and a sarpanch was killed in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district even a day later.
